Is it true that the Charlotte hornets will relocate?

I have heard rumors over the last few years that the Charlotte hornets will relocate to another city again like the Hornets relocated to New Orleans but the Bobcats came back. I hope somehow Charlotte stays for a good while this time. I thought basketball was pretty popular in North Carolina.

So the Hornets are staying in Charlotte, 100%. But MJ is selling some of the team, not the majority, but some, to other investors. The main talk has been whether the Panthers are relocating or not because the state of South Carolina feels some type of way that the slogan for the Panthers is "One Team, Two States" yet the stadium and all the revenue is in the state of NC, not SC.
