Also it seems like he is really enjoying football now.

I think Baker will end up better than Kosar

Otto is a top 10 all time qb so def not him.

Brian Sipes peak relative to the rest of the league probably a little better than Bernie

but yea Otto gets forgotten

when you consider his passer rating was 90 plus every year and the league averaged like 55

He was substantially better than everyone else

I also forget about Frank Ryan. It's funny the historical break there is between super bowl history and pre super bowl

if he has his mid 60s seasons 5 years later he's looked at differently I'm sure.


but regardless of that if we are talking current version Browns and anything most people have seen walking around today.....Baker is the best they've had.

Nobody truly cares about Otto... but again he'd be seen as ten times a guy like Bradshaw if he'd simply done what he did in the Super Bowl era.

Baker is definitely must watch TV. Sometimes he can rub a viewer the wrong way and seem arrogant and cocky but when you step back and don't judge him, he's actually just a guy with a ton of energy who loves to play football. His play can drive you nuts at times but he isn't afraid of anything out there and just balls. Kinda like Ryan Fitzpatrick but a little better than Fitz.

Given the way the Browns ran him out and the disaster that was and is the Panthers, yeah, him bouncing back in large part due to McVay just telling him to go have fun, you have to root for the guy to get it.

Under pressure Baker is. Overall it’s probably a wash. Baker outplayed Hurts last night wasn’t even close.
