I'll take it. If nothing else it increases his trade value and we can move him at the deadline. I'd take anything, mediocre outfielder, random relief pitcher. He's not the long term solution so get what we can for him. In the meantime I'll enjoy what he's doing.

That's a good way to look at it. Catcher is a rough position and chances are he won't keep it up too long so ride it out while it lasts and d'Arnaud will be there waiting. Always nice to be set in such an important position like the catcher.

God damn this guy is fun to watch. For as long as I've been watching baseball the Mets have not had a power pitcher that just dominates batters the way Harvey has so far. We've had some good ones but they've all been finesse. Leiter, Pedro, Johan, Glavine etc.

A lot of people are making the comparison to Clemens, but for me it's Seaver. Either way, it's just so nice to have a talented bulldog like this kid on the team.

Fucking kidding me, 0 outs and runner in scoring position we get a fielders choice followed by Wright striking out looking and Ike chasing 2 straight pitches high out of the zone to strike out for the 237th time this season. These guys need to drive in a run in that situation, no excuse for that.
