I had all three winning...ISU and Baylor falling in the S16...Texas going down to Kentucky in the E8. Dammit, I've always liked Rick Barnes and his teams' style of play - despite the fact that every time I pick em, they fuck up, like today.

That's my universe, I reside here.

I mean, my best basketball memories are:

Barnes/Horns just getting to Final Four, once.

Penders/Horns upsetting their way to Elite Eight, only to have to face Arkansas again, the one team they didnt have a chance to beat (already lost to them three times that year)

Abe Lemons/Horns winning the NIT in Madison Square Garden, back when NCAAs only had 32 teams. This was probably my favorite team

Conference homerism simply doesnt work in NCAA

Every team loses. Only 1 team wins anything. It is not like bowl games where you can trot out some exhibition wins for some meaningless homerism points....to chant "SEC SEC SEC"

I have no freaking clue what any league did last year. I know Connecticut won the whole thing, but I have no idea what if any other AAC teams made the dance or won any games

Come Sunday night, there will be 52 teams sent home losers.
