Game Thread: Iowa @ Nebraska — 7pm on BTN

Nebraska has their work cut out for them.

Lunardi is usually spot on with his bracket projections and not only does he not have Nebraska on the bubble, he even listed a “fringe” of the bubble which consisted of about a dozen teams......and Nebraska isn’t on that list either.

We can’t lose any of our last 4 games at home I’m afraid. And our 3 remaining road games probably need to see no worse than 2 of those as wins as well.

We all knew that shoulda coulda woulda game against Kansas was gonna come back to bite us. This wouldn’t even be a discussion right now if we don’t allow that 3 to end the game.

Yeah that would look great on paper for us, What I was saying is if we do lose I think it will be to Maryland. Minnesota could be another one.

We need to get a leash on Gill and have him either drive into the lane and cause fouls or he is just giving one of our guys a break. Him shooting or making any decisions with the ball is counter productive to winning.

Honestly he is our best 3-point shooter and it’s not even close.

Where we get into trouble with him is when he’s forced to put the ball on the floor, because he can’t handle the rock for shit.

He plays really good Defense and he’s the best set shooter we have. When he’s in there I just want to see Palmer and Glynn penetrate and look to kick it to Gill if his man helps off to stuff the lane. We’ve done a pretty good job of it but Gill has been off the last couple of games.

I trust that you are right I value your opinion on Bball over mine. It is just funny that we see it the exact opposite watching the same game. But I will admit I haven't watched to many games this year. And when I do I am at the bar with my Ice tea, but it is hard not to get distracted. People want to talk during the game.

Iowa got wrecked too. That’s what happened.

Oh, and we could have scored 100 points but Cope missed 2 free throws in the final seconds and then Miles told the guys not to score and let the clock run out......and people’s minds exploded over that.
