Currently have the 4th best odds to win the National Championship behind Alabama, Oregon, and Clemson.

Also would be a 7.5 favorite over Ohio State if they played on a neural field this weekend.

More than likely but you could say that about any team really. They do provide the biggest upside though. Before the year they were apparently 200/1 to win the title.

Sweet merciful shit, I wish they were playing this weekend. I could pay my house off next week.

BAYLOR does not really have a defense.

They are not quite in the same class as other octane teams like Oregon.

Those Oregon teams have/had at least a semblance of good defense.

I just think Baylor is going to run into a game where they come out on the 55-45 wrong side of things.

IMO baylor hasnt played anyone worthwhile to even judge the defense yet, but damn they can score.

Well they did allow WVU to score more points than they were able to score on William & Mary, a bad FCS team.

I don't believe Baylor has done anything drastic to upgrade themselves on defense from last year in terms of coaching changes or acquiring talent, so they are likely not going to hold teams like Oklahoma back from scoring in bunches. OSU would do just fine.

If you bet them then, now a risky bet IMO.

They said the point total for Baylor vs. Oregon would be 94 points.

Oregon doesn't seem to ever have problems playing high octane spread offenses.

They are usually beaten by a smash-mouth defense and a pro-set style (Stanford, USC).

Conversely, Baylor doesn't seemed to be fazed by defensive teams.

Baylor is more vulnerable to offensive teams.

Oregon would kill Baylor.

But, Baylor would lay waste to Stanford who might beat Oregon again.

Please list the defensive teams Baylor has faced.

I'll wait.
