A few key injuries in the game today. Lost Amendola with a head injury, Talib with a hip, and Mayo with a shoulder.

I heard Mayo was spotted in a sling, but have no news on Amendola or Talib.

Reading it was a hip flexor for Talib. How serious is that?

any injury is fairly serious considering the team is paper thin at just about every position

I guess we can live with Arrington on the outside vs NYJ, esp if Holmes is out. Dennard can take Hill, Arrington on Kerley and Ryan on who?

Talib had a grade 1 and stayed in. That may or may not have gotten worse to grade 2 before he came out.
You can play with a grade 1 but it often worsens to grade 2 - requiring more time. could be either

Mayo's shoulder could be a collarbone, separation or ligament to the collarbone. not severe but all require time.

Amendola's concussion could be anything from play next week to several weeks.

Oddly, the most serious of these may require the least time off?????

Isn't that what Ray Rice had? He missed, what, 1 game?

Yeah Talib might miss the NYJ game, but that would be it probably. Amendola might miss a game or two, but not sure on Mayo.

I think Amendola is going to be out for awhile. They said today he has a "bad" concussion. I honestly think this is the 1st time I have heard the word "bad" before a concussion...LOL

No it is not. Honestly, as long as Edelman stays healthy we can do with out him. Collie looks like he is going to be a good pick up also. Those 2 catches at the end of the game were huge. He was where he was suppose to be, and I think that is key. I gotta be honest. If these WR continue to grow, Amendola will not be back next yr. Just my opinion.

LOL You know the Pats knew of his propensity to get injured / concussed they rolled the dice and it appears they lost.

I thought the same thing about Amendola before Collie was signed...while he was still nursing his groin.
Hate to say it, but Edelman may finally be tougher than someone.

We signed him for 5 years so I don't think we cut him loose. We could try to trade him but his value wouldn't be there unless he produces more this season. Had a feeling he would have trouble staying healthy and he has.

I'm hoping he comes back for the playoffs. Lewis has the same injury about the same point last year and returned.

Can they afford to leave him on the active roster with all the other injuries?
