Game Thread: INDY in LA

Closest thing to Diehard we as fans will hope to see this year. Blue collar team from the East(ish) travels to LA to fight for a W. I am not including the Heat at LAL because that is like Hollywood of Miami goes to LA to shoot fish in a barrel.

LAC come in on a 4 game win streak against a padded schedule.

Indy is coming in hot as...well a lot warmer than it is in Indy. We all know they have lost 1 game against a softish schedule.


Now begins their road trip to once again prove they are who they are saying they are.

LAC biggest strength besides CP3 is inside strength, but that inside strength is Hollywood hard and the Pacers are Diehard hard in the paint. I expect Griffin to be non existent tonight if the Pacers game planned for him. Their perimeter D will take care of the rest. If the Pacers can put up some points this will be a good start to their road trip.


I like them a lot tonight, generally it is not the first game of a roadtrip or back to back to worry about. I expect them to come in at about 3.5-5 point favorites and I will smash that. I would not be surprised at Indy being 9 or 10 point favorites.

I forgot about CP3's hammie, Indy will open at over 10 points.

Vegas I think is waiting as long as possible to find out about CP3 and they will open larger to keep people from backing Indy and if CP3 is going to play the line will come down a bit. I will look to tease this with OKC, MIA, and maybe NO.


If this hammie is an issue he could have a really hard time in the MVP race.

West and Hibbert combining for 5-14 from the field. I am going to sell some pacer stock, they struggle to score and with that front court they always will especially against good wing defending teams like the Heat. They will walk to the ECF though based on rebounding and defense.

as of now Hibbert and West are a combined 19-32 and 51 points......good thing ur no broker.

@Manning. Meant for the season. They are shooting 44% this season iirc. If they bring that up then i like indy again. Never stoppes liking them for the game

Nobody is obsessed with the Pacers. I'm a basketball fan first and Heat fan 2nd which is why I always purchase the league pass yearly
