That was a great performance today. I know SF is bad, but our team played well. Zeke was amazing today from the first carry to the last. Dez had some bounce today as well. The defense got some sacks and turnovers. It was great to see. Beathard made some good throws and Hyde had some nice runs, but a rookie Qb makin his first start usually doesn't fare well

Yeah, we all know SF isn't the barometer we should be measuring ourselves against, but great game for this team and they needed it. OL looked like their old selves and the running game kicked ass. Dak looked great too. Offense just ran like a well oiled machine. With pressure from the DL this defense will be better and better. The backend talent isn't great or at least seasoned enough to play at their best right now, but with the DL getting at QBs and Sean Lee on the field, they may just be good enough.

It get a lot tougher now. Washington will have 1 less day to get ready. Sean Lee was probably a bit rusty. Didn't really look like his old self. Antonio Brown is getting better and better. The line played better on the run, but looked a little shaky on passing downs. Don't remember Dak having to run for his life as much last year. Easily Zeke's best game this year. 5 sacks is nice.

Would be nice if Washington beats Philly tomorrow.

Jaylon smith made a great play on the qb. We finally saw a qlimps of what he can do. With lee and hitchens back, Jaylon does not get worn out.

It was awesome to finally see J.Smith make an impactfull play. He had to be feeling great after that one. Smith is in a much better role now as a back up.

I think just having Lee next to him helps immensely like it would any young player. It lightens his responsibility and Lee has a way of being there to cover up when a teammate messes up. So it allows Smith to learn as he plays and not play worried that he is going to mess up. He also made a play where he shot the gap on a run and got through the blocker and the runner both. It was a little of a guess (or called by DC or based on film study) but with lee there to backfill worth the chance and he made a great play. i think it was the play in the red zone right before they had to pass and fumbled so it turned out to be a huge play. The arrow is still pointing up for this kid. As long as he keeps getting healthier he will get better. Hopefully the mental part improves week by week. That's where I've been a little disappointed..

Lee might not be back for long. He was noticeably limping in the 2nd half yesterday. Wouldn't be shocked to find out he has re-injured his hamstring - or maybe it was his groin? - the way he was walking around. Might be seeing a bit more of Smith again.

Yes he was definitely gimpy in the 3rd and 4rth Q.

The only time I have ever walked around like that is when I pulled my groin. Very painful.

Of course you appreciate that Lee tried to play through it, but I wish he would sit immediately when things like this flare up. He was on the field at least 2 downs too long before he was taken out of the lineup in the 4th. Those last two downs on his last series, Lee was out in coverage still running around, possibly doing more damage. You could see the limp get worse after those two plays when Dallas came off the field after getting the stop. Painful to watch him walk around like that.

Yeah, gotta pull for the deadskins tonight. Either way it's gonna be a fun game because one of them will lose.

Good point, could be a groin. I was thinking it was an ankle injury the way he was able to tough it out to keep playing. Would make sense to have either a lower back or a lower leg injury after a hamstring injury. Both will tighten up and more likely to get pulled or twisted.

If Philly wins tonight, they're the favorites to make the Super Bowl. With Aaron Rodgers out, who else is there? Go Washington.

NFC can be a lot about HFA. I wouldn't want to be going to GB, Seattle, Minnesota , Atl in that order

As far as Seattle is concerned, they have big offensive problems. Not good away from home. Minnesota is still an unknown. QB situation is getting interesting. Don't know if Bridgewater will ever really be able to return.

That Minnesota D is good at every level. The loss of Cook at RB takes away a weapon but they are pretty deep. They have a nice complinent of WRs too. Qb- Bradford looked like Brady in game 1. Keenum though looks like the guy to me going forward. Teddy B may have to wait until next year.
