its a 1903 38acp pocket pistol .. not be be confused with the super 38 ... It probably has more sentimental value to me than what it is worth .. it was my uncles ..it still fires ... he was the father figure in my life after my dad died .. every new years eve at midnight he would fire that thing off .. just a good memories for me

If you want stopping power you must at least get a .45 or larger imo. Glock 21 sf(slim frame) was my last purchase. I love it and it only cost 500 bucks.
