I tried to focus on the positives of his return, but so far I'm even more disappointed than when he left for Russia. I thought, Hey look at all the ice time he got in the KHL in all kinds of situations. Upon further review, I failed to understand that every player in the NHL got that ice time in whatever league they previously played. You just can't duplicate the size and speed of the NHL.

Babcock has already beat me to calling out the entire 3rd line, and why wouldn't he? The "greatest 3rd line since sliced bread" is a collective -16. Applegaytor is coming back tonight and our 4th line has been more of a threat to score on the PK than the 3rd could with a man advantage. It makes them look even worse when they follow the 2nd, which has been one of the better lines in the league. (Mule, Flip, and Bert)

Oh yeah, I almost forgot that Jimmy is having troubles with back spasms so Osgood will be back in net. Everyone will be accountable for 200 feet. (why do I even have to say that!?!?) You might want to get your shit together "turd" line. Changes will be made after tonight if you haven't...

I see your point, but the ice times for the top 3 lines have been comparable after the 1st period for most games. It's hard not to cut their time while the team has been having slow starts. They are the only ones in the minus column.

I have faith they will gel. For now, i'm gonna sit back and see what a one game benching does...
