I vacillate between 46's sentiment (it's my team or who cares) and anyone but the Flyers or Pens. I'd also be more excited for Buffalo or Minnesota than any other team, but I wouldn't care that much either.
At the end of the day, I love hockey, but I love my Caps more than the game itself.

I root vehemently against whom ever knocked my team out. Once they are eliminated I root for and against teams based on players that I want to see lift the cup or players that don't deserve to have their name anywhere on it.

I am honestly surprised by how much love the Flames are getting (not that I mind). You guys already know I was rooting for the B's during the playoffs, but I would have been cheering for Vancouver if they would have been playing anyone else other than Boston. I also have a soft spot for the LA Kings.

I was just thinking I can't remember who all the teams are that haven't won. I guess we have Washington, Florida, Buffalo, Ottawa, Nashville, St. Louis, Columbus, Vancouver, Minnesota, San Jose, Phoenix, and Los Angeles. (is my list right?) Damn, misery loves company. Hockey must have the highest number of franchises without a title.
