this kid carson wentz is a tall 6-6 230 lb pocket guy with w good arm , some athleticism.

some say he is 1st rounder but i dont think so . i think he can shake out in round 2 or 3

he will need work on reading defenses and such but he does have some tools

Really like Kevin Hogan who we could probably get in the 3rd or 4th round let him develop a year or 2 behind Cousins

Hogan would fit the philosophy the Skins want to approach with now offensively. More athletic than Cousins.

Ricky Seals-Jones is all measurables right now. He's still really young. Texas A&M is loaded at WR so he might be getting lost in the shuffle, but for a kid with his accolades and ranking coming out of high school, he's been a slight disappointment. Christian Kirk, a true frosh on that A&M team....that kid is legit. Want him whenever he declares.

As an UDFA or 7th round flier, sure (Wentz). But the guys who play at that level in college and actually flourish in the NFL are few and far between. The only ones that I can think of off the top of my head are Flacco and Romo, two pretty good ones.

I would rather see this franchise go with a short term PROVEN FA that can win us some games in the short term, all the while drafting a guy in the 2nd/3rd who could develop into something special. Fitzpatrick comes to mind when looking at FAs who might be available. Someone like Hackenberg (who is dropping like a rock), Gunner Kiel, and Hogam seem like guys with high upside, and guys who have the physical attributes to be successful in the league.

Never been sold on Cousins. Hope I am wrong and this thread is rendered useless. We shall see what the rest of this season brings with him.
