Quit chasing the elite QB and keep they guy the team is willing to play hard for.

How many years have they been fixing the secondary. Sean Taylor was killed in 2007 and this team still hasn't found a half ass decent cover safety.

So you wanna give Taylor "more time" but not Thomas or RJS eh. Maybe a better QB is what they really need.

Terry Mac is my favorite Skins player right now, but I'm not a big fan of body catchers. He needs to stop jumping in the air when he doesn't need to. Like on the 4th dn play against ATL a couple weeks ago. His jumping up in the air on that play when he didn't need to (so he could catch the pass with his body) is the reason his second foot landed out of bounds on that play. Terry Mac dropped a TD today as well.

Get another WR - not totally against that, but going back to the NYG game up to today's gamee. Taylor has habitually missed 3-5 plays per game where WRs are wide open. Basically when your QB is as bad as Taylor can be at times it can be hard to truly evaluate pass catchers.

Fuck Scherff if he doesn't come off that wanting to be the NFL's highest paid OG. This is still giving him too much love Brandon Scherff but if he wants anything more than 12 mill per. Tell him to kick rocks. Scherff is #1 in a lot of the wrong categories. NFL Rankings

Is that the standard now. A guy the team is willing to play hard for? What does that mean anyway. Are you saying the team didn't play hard for AS or Allen? I'd rather have a guy who knows when n where to go with the ball personally. But, yeah, play Taylor for the rest of the year. I'm cool with that. Either he'll change his bad habits or he won't and 16.5 games will be enough I'd say to know 1 way or the other.

Because this team has a long standing habit of paying other teams stars and lowballing their own. Landon Collins is yet another example of this.

As for the QB, I will point out again, we are grading a guy who now has seven whole starts in our system and already have been talking the who's next. But I would rather see the team give him a real shot rather than the 3-7 game audition that seems to be the standard unless its someone elses cast off.

My guy right now is Kenny Picket , maybe not high in round one but he has a good arm , can pick out the best matchups , protects the ball and he has some mobility and he has experience .

I like willis and a like strong as well but I don’t want to trade up .

Is the DL fixed? Sure the secondary needs work, but the Skins didn't overpay for anyone, well, not like Bruce Allen overpaid for Collins. McClain is on a 1 year 1.5 million dollar deal. Jackson is on a 3 year 40.5 mill deal and KF a 4 year 40 million dollar deal. At the times of these signings I don't recall anyone saying they were over-payed particularly Jackson n Fuller who both had proven track records..

Over-paying a player your team drafted who A) always seems to start the year off shitty B) hasn't played a full 16 game schedule in 5 years n counting C) wants to be the highest paid player at his position despite the fact that he's @ the bottom of the top tier position-wise if that. Just because said team has a history of low balling players they've drafted in the past is stupid. It doesn't do a damn thing for the players who were low-balled in the past and will make it easier, perhaps even necessary to have to low ball a player in the future. Some of y'all need to stop acting like every draft pick the Skins ever made has turned to gold, it hasn't. If it had we wouldn't be having this conversation. You say over-paying FAs isn't working. I agree. But drafting players isn't working either and over-paying an OG just cuz makes no sense and will add to the problem not solve it.

Just like you're talking who's next far as TEs, go even though Logan Thomas in his first real opportunity to actually play TE last year. He did alright improving as the season went along and RJS has fewer starts than Heiney. Seems like you've clearly graded them already. Why no love for them, but all this love for Taylor who's warts have clearly been exposed already. Cuz he has moxie n heart? That's hurt the Skins as much as its helped them this year. And if you notice, the better the team the Skins are playing. The less the moxie n the heart help.

I'm cool with giving Taylor the rest of the season to prove himself or to improve himself I should say. If he's still staring down WRs from the snap of the ball causing him to miss other WRs who are open. Trying to make throws he has no business making, or hasn't improved his pocket play so be it. If he improves on 1 or all of those bad habits that will be great.
