Something funky is going on and until you get that fixed there’s no need to start or continue any kind of rebuild.

I need a D option. They won't be able to get rid of near the number of players that they want to.

Well we have some good things in place , both o/line and d/line are in good shape
Rb is in good shape
We have one wr in place and one who should contribute next yr
TE could be solved
BU qb is solved
The rest is a work in progress and we have cap space
The issues with the FO and off the field hold this back
The unnecessary name change and lack of fan support also an issue

Franchise QB
Two Linebackers
Free Safety
#1 Corner
Still think we need a LT
Most likely gonna need a Scherff replacement.

Honestly I'm kinda warming to the idea of having 18m imstead of Scherff and I love Scherff.

Needs:
Starting QB
2 LB's (still)
1 safety
1 corner
New RT; Cosmi to LT
1 RB (Gibson hurt too often)
1 WR to push Brown (Samuel plays slot)
Wes Schweitzer doing a fine job replacing the 18m man (Cosmi, Flowers, Rollier, Schweitzer or Charles, Charles or FA/draft pick)

I like this list but I think that instead of a WR to push Brown, I would make that 1 WR to push TMac.

Fix the secondary,
Get a TE
Get another WR
Keep Scherff

Quit chasing the elite QB and keep they guy the team is willing to play hard for.

Bonus would be unfuck the LB group

Not bad ideas. I don’t see how you keep scherff and they do need an elite qb, but at the least a qb the team will play hard for

You keep Scherff by paying the man.

And they have a QB the team will play hard for on the roster already.

Use what is looking to be a top 5 pick on the defense (I know, fuck again???) Unless there is another Megatron on the board

I am with you on the secondary.
Not even sure about the receivers because Heinicke doesn't see guys running wide open. I do think Jackson and possibly Samuel were a mistake.
Scherff at a lower salary. He always misses games. Morgan Moses was tougher.
I like the way Davis is improving.
Getting rid of LC after this year is paramount.

Who is that qb? Fitz? We really don’t know because he really never had the chance

We are rating a QB wo has a total of what 7 starts, as if he were a top five pick with three seasons under his belt.

If there were a QB worth the pick next year, I would feel differently. But we been reaching and chasing the elite QB for what 15-20 years now??

My guy right now is Kenny Picket , maybe not high in round one but he has a good arm , can pick out the best matchups , protects the ball and he has some mobility and he has experience .

I like willis and a like strong as well but I don’t want to trade up .

I like Matt Corral, not sure if he is coming out. But I am not I don't think anyone is a lock. I have yet to see Pickett play so no opinion on him yet.

Have to see where the team ends up in the draft and I wouldn't be opposed to picking a guy 2nd or 3rd round depending on how things look come spring.

Maybe Im just tired of the hunt for the next Elite redskins QB. We get someone who has some skills, but isnt a finished product and give him half a season to become the next Brady. Or we throw a 1st rounder or more at someone over rated in the draft, then still suck. OR occasionally grab some vet past their prime but with a name (McNabb ring a bell) And yet again... suck.

Meanwhile Frodo of Seattle.. has a ring.

Frodo is funny, he can play though.

Yes we had someone decent we didn't value them and for 30 years (Heath Shuler) we have drafted a bunch of over valued QBs.
