Pretty sure the point of my post went completely over your head. I was only saying if the teams on our schedule lived up to preseason expectations we would be the clear number 2 team, but they didn't so now it seems like we don't control our own destiny...

^I was 100% not making the BSU argument of "we can only play the team on our schedule." I've always said shit isn't fair, and no one is going to pity you if your schedule bottoms out on you, which happened to ND this season. I still believe we deserve a shot though.
