I wouldn't pay him more than a 1 yr $2-3mil type of vet min deal... Low risk high reward if he still has some juice left in those legs. And I'd bet the farm thats all he's been offered to this point. Only thing that could necessitate an increase is if multiple teams are hit by the injury bug.

I'd also bet the farm that as soon as Bell retires he'll start playing the blame game & claiming things like "Tomlin ran my career into the ground"... Anything to deflect all of his bad decision-making. And on social media of course...

His gamble on himself went bust

It's like the hot chick that you dump because she's f'n crazy - sombody's tongue will be hanging out.
No matter how bad she is there will always be someone else that wants her.
Hell, even Lorena Bobbitt has a new guy.....
I hear Casey Anthony is available, wood that one.

If so, Latavius must be good to go I assume?
Think so. Murray, Freeman & Williams is the committee now.

Bell, once again proves how ineffective he is at just 2.7yds per carry. If he had anything left in the tank then he should have been able to carve out a role in a depleted BAL roster.

He's just not a good fit in that system. When at his best, he's a patient runner that feels out the play to find the gaps and a receiver out of the backfield. That doesn't mesh well with the Ravens, even if he was still in his prime IMO.

That was years ago. Why does everyone keep making excuses for him.

Also it was the steelers line being a top unit holding blocks FOREVER for him.

avens released Le'Veon Bell.

Bell, 29, averaged a miserable 2.7 yards on his 31 rushing attempts as part of Baltimore's committee of washed running backs. With elusiveness and explosiveness long gone, Bell's days as a lead back are done, in case that wasn't clear before this season. Devonta Freeman and Latavius Murray will likely split backfield duties for the remainder of the season while Lamar Jackson operates as the team's RB1. Bell's release could be a sign that Murray is finally over his ankle injury.

Remember when some idiot said taking time off would keep his legs "fresh"

How do you get excuses out of my post? I merely said the fit wasn't good even if he was still effective (which he isn't).

Sorry. When the first line says “it wasnt a good fit” then saying something about his running style…its hard not to think thats an excuse for him not Performing. Otherwise im not sure the intent. Since its been years since that was true.

It appears I wasnt the only one who took it that way.

Scorned b!tch keeps stirring up shit weekly just to keep his name relevant.

Fact is he tried to ride the coattails for a ring, but didn't get it... Now he wants to turn around and blame Andy Reid for why he isn't gainfully employed?

F*ck outta here Le'Veon. You could've been in the HOF discussion had you made better career choices but now you're bummin on Twitter like the rest of us.

He cost the Steeler's a Super Bowl when he went and pulled his tantrum.
