If Jagr comes back?

Tough to guage since he probably won't play on a random team. But with an elite center he probably is good for 30 goals and probably 50 assists.

I could see him hitting 30 goals. I guess I was playing it safe. Cant say I wouldnt want him back in Pittsburgh. Buffalo could use him too.

Jagr could score and I dont see him losing his touch. Not as well as he used to but I think 30 could be realistic? Maybe not?

As far as I know, Its just wishful thinking. i think he could hang tho still.

80 points seems a bit over the top. I would go for more 20 goals 30 assists or in the 50-60 point range even if he lands on an elite team.

If Guerrin is still good for 20+ I would say 30 is not a stretch in the least. Heck Recchi almost hit 20 and he is 42 and was never the caliber of Jagr.

Thats what I think. I not 2 sure he could hit much more than 70 points even if he was overachieving based on his age.

Guerrin does have a nice team around him tho. I would say 30 is the very top. i totally agree with the Recchi comment.

Like I said I am assuming he goes to a contender where he more or less has to shoot, and not create the shot. Pens with Sid or Geno, Van with Sedin or even SJ would give him the center that can do most of the work.

The inferior competition along with the shorter schedule should help the age factor. I am merely comparing him to the older players in the league who I never considered in his league. So I inflated his numbers to = the talent difference. I could be way off, but Mario came back and was still a 1.5 point per game player at 38 with inferior talent.

Fair enough. my opinion is that bigger rink, worse competition might have a different effect than you do. We can agree to disagree, no problem.

But that is an awfully short tourney.

as a powerplay specialist, I could see him getting 25g+30a.

Jags would score 35-40 goals with an elite center. He is the ultimate cherry picker and with no 2-line pass he could just sit on the blue line and wait for Crosby.
