Does he go in as a Phil? I think he should, but I could also see him going in as a Red Sox.

Someone who takes an interest in baseball... Why does anyone care about anything related to baseball? It's just a game... But some people enjoy watching it/discussing it/reading about it. So that's why I asked the question.

He's from Arizona, won a WS with Arizona and WS co-MVP and finished 2nd in Cy Young voting 2 years in a row there. Also won more awards in AZ than any of his other stops around the MLB. AZ should be in the discussion BUT he played the most games with Philly so there's that. It's a tough call.

Arizona has a shot. He is definitely revered and remembered more in Arizona and Boston because of his postseason heroics, but the fact that he played in Philly for twice as long as those two might give him the edge. It is close.

True. I just remember him more playing for Boston but now that you've mentioned it, he did have a really successful stint in AZ. Who knows.

With the Football HOF, player decides with which team his affiliation is going in. It is not uncommon for players to choose the "several" monikor when going in. I think they do that as well in baseball but I may be wrong.

They do not Retro. MLB chooses the team, and if the player doesn't like it, he can go into the hall with no team affiliation. I believe only Gaylord Perry has done this, but Piazza said in his new book that he would too if MLB told him he was going in as a Dodger.

Wasnt a huge fan of his, but if I needed to win game seven, Im definitely sending him to the mound. I'll never forget that performance in game six of 04 ALCS.

In baseball, if memory serves, it's the player's own choice.

He will usually pick the team he was with the longest, but is not required to.

Well Brahmsian. According to number one, MLB chooses the team, but I am like you. I thought the player chooses but again, I could be wrong here.

Players don't choose ever since that one guy (Boggs I think) was paid by the Rays to choose them.
