what is 'ok'? If we're interested in winning a playoff game, I wouldn't say we're 'ok.'

What's different? We're 6-3, still have a 1 1/2 game lead in the division assuming the Ravens win, we still have wins over quality teams, including two past SB champs. We had a bad game. So now we can never win a playoff game? This is exactly what I was talking about. Don't jump.

- Geno Atkins, the best player at his position in the NFL is out for the year.
- Our quarterback absolutely sucks in Primetime.
- Marvin Jones and Gio Bernard are emerging stars, and everyone sees that but the coaching staff
- The team still loses games not to higher quality opponents, but because they cannot NOT beat themselves, which means the coaches either suck, or are playing the wrong personnel

I guess most of that isn't different, actually.

too many injuries at this point. it's doubtful we can even beat pittsburgh @Pittsburgh. we should beat Min and CLE, that gives us 8 wins, 9 if we beat Pit

we aren't beating Baltimore in the shape we are in, and we aren't beating Indy or SD, so we're looking at 8-8, 9-7 if we win @PIT, which still isn't easy.

we were talking about a blow out against a team that was imploding yesterday... it's easy to see now which team is imploding.

You guys are hilarious. You spent the week talking about the first seed in the playoffs and now you're talking about 7-9. Just stop. It's really not that bad.

The injuries will be tough to overcome. But they won't sink us. We don't play that many good offenses the rest of the way. And Zimmer has made a living doing more with less.

If the offense gets Gio back and shores up the line play from last night we should be just fine. Sure, Dandy will have a few stinkers in there, but he'll also have some big days.

I don't think anyone is worried about 7-9 or even missing the playoffs for that matter. I fully expect us to still make the post season, and that should still be the expectation. However, I think the team was poised for at least some sort of playoff push (which is the discussion point of this thread, is it not?), which I no longer expect considering all the circumstances.
