Ice Cream from Bananas

So i found this thing online and it intrigued me.

Basically you freeze some sliced up bananas over night.........

Then blend them quickly to a smooth texture with like 1/2 cup of milk

Turns out like soft serve......

If you put it back in the freezer for 30 min it takes a texture of actual ice cream.......

The natural sugars from the banana are more than enough.......and you can jazz it up a bit, i tossed in a little peanut butter and used vanilla almond milk, not bad and alot healthier ......made a huge bowl for very little calories

This sounds good. I'm going to try it. Might be good with a drizzle of chocolate syrup, too.

They have a machine that will do that, but a blender works. You freeze bananas and then feed em through like a juicer.

I had a recipe, will have to look for it along those lines. Used frozen avocados and something else to make a chocolate milkshake that people swear tastes like a Wendy's shake.

1cup whole milk
1/2 cup coconut sugar
1 large organic avocado
1/4 cocoa powder
4 cups ice

blend till smooth but not overblended. It's from a hippie facebook friend, so I'd just put in whole milk and regular sugar, although not real healthy at that point.

I use two bananas, Land O Lakes Cocoa (the flavored mix kind that you turn into hot chocolate), and will sprinkle with chocolate chips afterward. It's good stuff.

We have that machine the YoyoNanas. It's actually pretty good. The kids even like it.
