Playing Michigan every year would have been a much better rivalry. Thanks to Delaney, Beebe's cousin, that won't happen now.

That would have been sufficient for me. But alas, our "planned rival" appears to be destined to be a never-was (no NCs under belt).

No, not like that at all. I'm not like some dumb **** who doesn't have the brains to leave an abusive relationship. The Big is comparable to the Big 12. Look at all of the goodies they gave Maryland to come to this conference that Nebraska didn't get. Delaney, Beebe's cousin is no different than Beebe. He's showing his true colors now.

If that was the case his decisions would benefit tOSU at the cost of the rest the conference.

Delaney is making decisions that benefit the Big Ten Network which in the end benefits the entire conference.

Besides basing the B1G conf expansion solely off cable tv contracts, which is a big fucking mistake, I have no issue with Delaney. I doubt he's in anyone's pocket, the um/osu game is what matters to the conf. as it should be, that's been resolved, everyone else can just get in line. We don't have tenure or the star power anymore to demand shit. Our only weapon for persuasion just retired

Michigan, tOSU, and the Rose Bowl actually.

Beating an 8-4 shit team in the Rose Bowl is as big as winning a NC to the Big 10.

It's the reason there was no Penn St/Nebraska NC in 94' and no Michigan/Nebraska NC in 97'.

I never hated OU and I didn't hate Switzer either, even though he out maneuvered Osborne pretty good in their meetings. Especially in the 1984 game.

I myself would love to see Nebraska play Michigan, OSU, and PSU every year also, but Beebe's cousin has a different opinion than us.

Getting more comparable to the SEC than the Big XII IMO. The SEC big boys don't all play each other.

If we start scheduling big conference games early and OOC patsies late, then it will be virtually identical.
