How are we gonna keep this pace? We finally have the stout Defense we've lacked in recent years. Here's to hoping and {+}PRAYING{+} it rolls all the way to the finish line!
The next two games (Packers and Chargers) will be ball busters. Both on the road and both against playoff bound teams. That being said, Injuries are always a problem when they occur, but the Patriots seem to avoiding serious injuries because not one single position player plays 100% of the snaps on offense or defense......except Brady. Watch closely, even the offensive linemen are substituted during the game. Yesterday, Cannon came in for Wendell and Connelly and I believe he was in for Vollmer on a couple of plays. Devey played for Wendell for a few snaps and Barker played for Connelly. I know Solder got a blow too, but I don't remember who came in for him. I'd be willing to bet that Belichick play 47 out of the 48 actives yeaterday. The only uniforms not to take the field were Gray and Grappolo.
Injuries aside, This team is rolling and when they're underdogs, they're more dangerous than ever. Early line for Sunday is the Packers favored by 6. That should jump to 7 Tuesday and fall to 3 by Friday. That's all Belichick will need.
