How are we gonna keep this pace? We finally have the stout Defense we've lacked in recent years. Here's to hoping and {+}PRAYING{+} it rolls all the way to the finish line!

If they stay healthy I don't see why they won't continue to get better. If they can somehow escape Green Bay without any injuries AND a victory.......WoW!

I know people have been saying they're almost finished with the toughest part of their schedule but actually finishing the season with three division games is difficult and will have them in good shape going into the playoffs. They just need to stay healthy. No way Buffalo, Miami, or New York, show them any level of respect by laying down.

Oh, no doubt, there's a long way to go and those won't be pushover games. That's why I wish we were ON for the playoffs this week!

The next two games (Packers and Chargers) will be ball busters. Both on the road and both against playoff bound teams. That being said, Injuries are always a problem when they occur, but the Patriots seem to avoiding serious injuries because not one single position player plays 100% of the snaps on offense or defense......except Brady. Watch closely, even the offensive linemen are substituted during the game. Yesterday, Cannon came in for Wendell and Connelly and I believe he was in for Vollmer on a couple of plays. Devey played for Wendell for a few snaps and Barker played for Connelly. I know Solder got a blow too, but I don't remember who came in for him. I'd be willing to bet that Belichick play 47 out of the 48 actives yeaterday. The only uniforms not to take the field were Gray and Grappolo.

Injuries aside, This team is rolling and when they're underdogs, they're more dangerous than ever. Early line for Sunday is the Packers favored by 6. That should jump to 7 Tuesday and fall to 3 by Friday. That's all Belichick will need.

There are actually 46 active players every week.

You are right that one of the Patriots greatest strengths this year is that of depth. When you can substitute and give starters a bit of a break it does seem to help keep down injuries. We saw it last year with Seattle and why I do think they are struggling more this year because of losing so many of their good depth players. They are seeing more starters go down with injuries and are being forced to play players for more snaps than what I bet they would hope.
