I honestly believe we have slightly better talent that Iowa State............and we may even be on the same level possibly.

It's difficult to recruit Blackmon level talent to states like Nebraska and Iowa. There's nothing here to attract all-star talent. We have a lot of middle of the road talent, and we are playing middle of the road style of football in my opinion.

I don't think you can put this on Taylor Martinez. He was making good passes they just weren't being caught. Until the 4th quarter when our O-line went home he looked pretty good. Not great but he definitely was not the reason we lost.

be careful what you ask for. in all honesty, what other coach could nebraska get? even though I think bo's antics are a bit over the top, he has brought your program back up to relevance and to a competitive level then it was before he got there. he is a young coach in learning, patience.

Look, i know Oregon got extremely lucky in finding Chip Kelly, and other programs want the immediate success from a new coach that the Ducks got, but that is rare. Your coach has only been there what? 4 years? give him another 3-4. if he can't geto ver the hump then, then start getting restless. If he has 8 years without much improvement that is plenty of time to start making progress.

If you pull the trigger too fast you will regret it. Unless you get like a Gruden or something I don't see the benefits in getting rid of your coach.

Completey agree with you except for the last sentence. We got a Callahan and look what that got us. I believe Gruden is a better coach than Callahan ever was, but I do not think somebody like a Gruden would be a better option than Bo at this point.

Stick with Bo, and do not get an itchy tricker finger, it will only make things worse and I'm confident that T.O. understands that as well

Im still 110% behind Bo. I think it is critical that we have a coach with passion.

When I look at Bo during a game I see a guy that HATES HATES mistakes. I dont want a coach that is ok with subpar performances. He looked like he was in physical pain during the game.

That my friends will take us to championships.

Oh, I'm no way asking for anything other than Bo.........don't read into it the wrong way.

I'm just saying, at some point he will become Tom Osborne, and the fanbase will start to question his ability to win the big ones.

And then all we have to do is wait 20 more years and he'll win a bunch of games :smokin:

I completely understand the transition of NFL coaches to college is a bad idea and rarely ever works out. I used Gruden as a bad example, I was thinking of a big named head coach out there that could possibly return to coaching and possibly at the college level, Gruden just popped into my mind.

But your Callahan statement had me thinking. Callahan was so hated, even though he took the Raiders to the SB (with Gruden players) the following year Raider players were sending him DEATH threats and hate mail...The PLAYERS WERE!. That is how bad Callahan was. People don't like him.
