Probably saw you at some point. Only caught a few inning here and there. But if you were right behind HP then Im sure I saw you. I caught Romeros dinger. He seems to be heating up as the spring has gone along. I like the look of Romero been a big fan of his for awhile now.

Any good anecdotes from the game?

I think you and I have been talking Romero for a couple seasons now. I think I am as big of fan of his as you. Good minds on that one.

I was on TV for every pitch so you couldn't miss me.

No anecdotes really. Saw GMZ for the third straight game. So badly want to slap him in the back of his head.

Funny sight of the night was when we all were walking out after the game while still in the stadium my daughter says, 'There is Van Slyke" He is walking with the crowd while in fill uniform with his wife I assume and they head over to the parking lock with everyone. It was just weird.

For sure! I remember over on the ole cbs site some talk about him after his huge season in High Desert. And many were saying not to get to excited because of High Desert inflating hitting numbers. Then I think you went to spring training the following season and you gave us a little report on the players you saw during BP or something, this is part of that report I remember most because I remember thinking the same thing when I saw him play in person for the first time, AZ said something along the lines of "Romero just looks like a baseball player, something a lot of the other Mariners players don't have and the game seems natural to him" something like that.

I don't know if he will ever be a star player but I sure wouldn't be surprised if he did. He seems like the player that will burst onto the scene and surprise a lot of people kinda the way Seager did.

by the way im glad you refrained from beating the crap out of JackZ since you were with your family and all.

But if you see him again feel free to slap the back of his bald head, you have my blessing. It would be great to see the red outline of your hand on top of his empty head!

Didn't see enough of the game to notice you but in case you were wondering, the 1st Hosmer 3rd strike was a bit inside but close enough for a guy like Felix to get the call and the 3rd strike he took before getting ejected was a perfect paint of the outside corner. He didn't have an argument there.

Brad Miller is absolutely crushing the ball and I can't hope enough that he's able to carry some of that over to the regular season unlike Michael Saunders last season after his hot WBC.
