And I did not have a problem with Chip signing Murray. I think it was a good signing and he is a god back. He just is not being used right.

I mean when you trade McCoy because you want a north/south guy when are you running him east/west? Makes no sense.

I agree with Eagle all the way. Chip is not a good nfl coach and he doesn't know what the hell he's doing as a GM. He'll be a perfect GM on a madden franchise mode. He doesn't understand adjustments, therefore he doesn't make them. Texas Longhornes please take this muthafcka off our hands. Lurie doesn't have the balls to do it. He'll wait until 12 to 15 years later to finally part ways.

The one thing I like about Chip: He makes decisions! He is not afraid of doing something that other people do not agree with. He is a risk taker. However, I think that he may be overconfident with some of his decisions.
Just waiting for this team to execute plays is not enough. Murray is limited in running out of the shotgun.
He must convince Bradford to use the whole field. The running game should have more focus so the other team
does not have the ball for 40 minutes.There are more items but this would be a starting point. IMO.

Last year, they were doing the read option look and making post snap decisions on the run, but ever since the Preseason Suggs thing, they have stopped using that. It appears now that all the run decisions are being made pre snap and more often than not, they are running into situations where they are outnumbered.

I don't buy that Murray can't run out of the shotgun. He and Bradford ran a very similar system in college quite successfully. I think it was one of the draws of signing both players that they ran a similar system in college.

1) Bradford isn't fast enough in his decision-making. Against decent defenses he will do OK but Against good defenses he's going to get scared.

2) Bradford and Murray played in the big 12 where it's more of a spread offense conference (Pac 12 as well) where they run up the score and there's not a lot of defense played. You see more ProStyle offenses and better defenses in the SEC and ACC and you sure as hell don't see alot of 100% shotgun offense in the NFL.

Chip abandons the run way too quick.

I agree on leaving him out there. New scenery always help, but I'm not sure he's EVER going to do anything but shit his pants against good defenses. And I mean... No leadership, no fire, and a full load in his pants.

I will give him that he faced great defenses in the NFC West, but he never made anyone around him better like good/great players do.

I am not sure either. I am not sure he has it. I don't buy the no leadership, fire, load in his pants stuff though. Despite being a good intelligent guy, he may simply not be a very good quarterback.

If he is intelligent then he should be able to learn and adjust. He telagraphs vwhen he is going to hand the ball off. Also he stares down receivers. How smsrt uis that?
