Great hit. Couldn't have been laid on a better victim either.

Looks like a little bit of a leap before contact was made...
/just sayin'
//everything else was clean about the hit

You = tyrant of colonial proportions.
FREE KRONWALLL!!!
His feet were off the ground but he didn't jump up to hit the guy. He was just exploding into the hit. He didn't jump up in order to get the guy high. He just thought the contact would come earlier than it did, IMO.

*****Dany Heatley says that monster hit by Niklas Kronwall in the first period of Game 3 mostly just knocked the wind out of him. But because his head did hit the board as he fell to the ice, he did go through the required protocol whenever a concussion may have occurred.
“Passed the test with flying colors,” he said today. That, I guess, was obvious by the fact he only missed two shifts.
Heatley ended up blocking a Kronwall shot in overtime, but the Sharks forward didn’t exactly look at that as revenge.
“I had to block that. I let him get by me in the first place to create that play,” Heatley said. “But there’s not really any time for revenge now. There’s going to be big hits from both sides and I’ve just got to get up and keep playing.”
This Sharks fan (and NOT a Heatley fan) approves this message.
Also, Heatley's comments from the Sharks blog:

Yeah, that was another great hit! And Clowe seemed OK with it...
But, the dumbass that he is and since he's done it in a game against LA a couple weeks ago, there is a 99.99999% chance of an untimely undisciplined fight initiated by Clowe vs. Kronwall within the first 5 minutes of Game 6.
