Fair enough but its time they got put up against a top program and stop riding the wave of the OU win.

Mark -- The only one bringin up OU is you.... still butthurt I see. :fear:

With that said, hopefully the New AD will do a better job of sceduling some games.

A win over Team SEC trumps the win over OU big time.

To be fair, they did beat the Pac 10 winners in 2009 and ACC winners in 2010 (but then again, so did James Madison..)

LoL - a Texas fan is talking smack when it comes to college football (circa 2010)? Now that is hilarious!!! I would worry about your program getting above .500 before anything else.

PS: Good luck with that Gilbert Grape guy as your quarterback. Where'sssss Arnie?!?!

BSU is just really frustrating.

I watch them play, and they are clearly good. But then they only play one or two tough opponents a year, so I wonder how they'd do with less time to prepare, more injuries, or just more chances to lay an egg and drop a game. Even the best team can lose a game they should win, and it's statistically harder to make it should a season unscathed with 4 or 5 chances to do that than with 1 or 2 chances.

I'm really hoping that if A&M goes to the SEC, the SEC takes VT instead of Mizzou and then the B12 adds Boise as a replacement for the Aggies (or better, Boise, BYU and New Mexico or someone to get back to 12 teams). I don't want to see superconferences and I want to see Boise in an AQ conference playing Oklahoma, Texas, Baylor, Okie Lite and Mizzou every year.

I was dissappointed 2 years ago when they paired up Boise State and TCU in the BCS. That was epic fail.

We are the PAC10 champs

Decent golf and tennis

there is the little problem of we really suck at BB

But if you were to get into a better conference, that would most likely improve...

Basketball will get better.. BSU got screwed out of the NIT last year. The new coach (former Gonzaga) asst. will turn this program around.

Tennis will probably be all but dead after the major NCAA infractions. Women's gymastics is always solid. gotta love the title IX.

Just like FSU in the 90s. When they had 2 tough games a year, they were golden. Put a few in a row and they crumble. Preparation is everything in college ball. They could prepare all preseason for this one game knowing the rest is cake.

This may all be a bullshit discussion when joja goes 2-9 this year.
