Talent equals out to an extent. Depends on the coverage scheme. The LBs also have play well in coverage. Not sure if your LBs can do that. More typical LBs and not like the Smith boys at FSU. yours are big bodied. We shall see. Then there is your DL. They have not been impressive this year IMO. Only 3 days left to wait.

Our LBs are some of the most athletic in the country. I'm not worried about them. Safeties on the other hand...

Can't wait. Kind of wish it was a day game, less wait. ;-)

The fact that the line has moved up in favor of FSU since first coming out, isn't a good sign.

You and I both know there is athletic and then quick. FSU has had athletic LBs, but not quick enough to cover in space. Again we shall see.

Was thinking this should have been a 2 td spread. It is now more than 3.

Not a great guarantee.

BC scored 34 against FSU, I think we will be alright.

Ppl forget about FSU having to come back to beat BC.

Im just saying since everyone is looking at our close conference games.

OK for the last time since Miami fans did not watch the BC game. Our defensive lineup was not the same in weeks 1-4 as it was weeks5-7. FSU was playing 2nd and yes a few 3rd string players in the 1st quarter and throughout the entire game. Since they finalized the lineup the starting defense has given up 7 points. So now what say you?

Same thing I always have, we can win this game. Previous games for both sides mean nothing at 6pm MST.

Most of our games we played with the starters out early as well.

You are not getting it. They were playing with the ENTIRE defensive lineup after the first defensive series. They did NOT lock down the starters and their positions until the week of Maryland. Due to the new defensive schemes they did this. It was not them pulling the entire 1st string out to play people. It was them putting players in like Desmond Hollin, Ukeme Ilegwe, Matthew Thomas(before he got injured), and numerous other 2nd string and 3rd string guys in to find "combinations" that worked in certain situations.

The defensive starters, 2 deep, and their positions were moved around A LOT the week of the Maryland game AFTER Pruitt and Fisher messed with the lineups. Since they actually finalized who was starting and who was playing where(Secondary, LBs, and DEs) they have given up exactly 7 points. If you want to take the time look up Dan Hicks #6 who started at LB who is now riding the bench unless FSU has a large lead. THey figured out the players they wanted where for the season during the BC game. I will find the article with the game interview of Jimbo stating that they messed with the lineup the entire game.

I have been saying it since before the season started.

No time to change now.

Go Canes!

Besides, it looks like everyone is making guarantees.

I like your enthusiasm. Rock on brotha.

Yes sir. They can be beat.

That's a bold statement my friend, especially if we are talking about the "U" beating Florida State. Is FSU beatable, yeah sure? I just don’t believe that Miami’s QB is good enough to lead this team to a win.

UMan, I will give you props for believing in your team when others (even your own fans) doubt you have a chance.

You are a true fan and I will be pulling for the “U” this weekend, for my own selfish reasons. lol

Good luck.

Bet you said the same thing about the Pats v Giants too.

Any given day, my friend.

Actually I did not, having played them the last game of the year I knew what the Giants were capable of.

If you think the Canes will beat the Noles this year it tells me one of two things. 1. You know nothing at all about college football. 2. You are trolling for attention. Which is it?

1. I played college football at Wisconsin, so I'll go on a limb and say I know more than you.

2. Trolling? Nah. Just trying to make it fun, I haven't said anything mean. Yet. ;-)

I admire Uman's support of his team...same as Jonvi with Syracuse. FSU should win that game; however shit happens and who knows, this one could be a huge upset. That guy Winston is the real deal and I just don't see Miami having an answer. IMO, Miami does not have the players to cover both the run and the pass and Winston does both as well an anyone in the country. I suspect FSU is one of the most improved teams, along with Alabama, in the country. In September, both teams looked weak on defense....NOT NOW.
