No, the Texans overpaid because they are idiots. Osweiller had no track record. Much like we overpaid for RG3.

Ok but you could hypothetically overpay anybody even at market value if they just weren't as good as you thought. I mean plenty of people praised the Texans for that contract at the time.

I think that at a minimum they tag Cousin again - they have already stated this & I don't think that yesterday's game changes this. If they let Cousins walk then they might as well also fire Gruden since it could get kind of ugly with that situation.

There's a BR story that, according to two "team sources," the team wants to re-sign him to a long term deal before he hits FA.
