Its comments like "The real question is will you be around after things go poorly for the Ravens and they don't make the playoffs?" that make it fun...I was called out multiple times by JWIL et al daring me to be here after the game. Im here.
I will be here the pressure is on you guys not us if you guys lose the division this year after having a 3 game lead it will be an epic failure.Everyone has counted us out since about week 7 which works out great given that as I type this we are only 1 game out of winning the division. Go Ravens!
You guys didnt play that bad last night except for the 1st qtr. But watching Dalton in big games it looks like he is in a hurry to get off the field if i was a CIncy fan I would have no faith in him whatsoever.
Dunno what happens tonight we shall see...I like it though nobody is giving us a chance reminds me of a run we had not-so-long-ago.
It was one loss. We are still in control of our destiny. No need to jump off a bridge or anything.
Talking about Dalton just means you didn't watch the game at all. Dalton had a solid game with 2 TD's and 0 INT AND his should have had at least 6 or 7 more completed passes due to dropped balls. Dalton was not the issue...special teams last night were.
Steelers scored just 10 points after the 1st quarter, and the defense only gave up 16 direct points where the steelers were forced to drive on them...
The team you refer to on your magical run, and this team are night and day. Baltimore also doesn't play well on the road (much like Cincy)...Detroit needs a win just as bad as the Ravens due. Playing at home, I favor the Lions. If this game were in Baltimore, I would favor Baltimore...but it's not.
Dropped balls dont count....Ask Lee Evans. I did watch the game and what I came away with was Lebeau dialed it up in the first half and was not as aggressive in the second half.
Look at the numbers Dalton did nothing til the D faded back gave Cincy the under routes not to give up the long ball or the quick score. Look at his first half stats v. 2nd half stats its pretty easy to figure out when u understand the game. I guess its u that doesnt.
Does anyone blame Joe for the dropped pass?
No.
Same goes with Dalton in the first half. His numbers would have been much, much better had AJ, Hawkins, and Gio not dropped passes.
You'll be hard pressed to find many on this board who think Dalton is a stud QB...we realize what he is, but when he plays well enough for this team to win, we will admit that, too. Last night was such a case. Dalton played well enough to win.
Special teams did not. End of story.
When a team (Steelers) shuts u down in the first half then relaxes in the second and allows u to throw 10/12 yd routes on them and it buffers your stats I dunno if that is playing well....but u can have it we see it differently.
Thats a fair assessment... Nothing pisses me off more then a wr droppinnig perfect passes.. Watch tonights game to see some really bad drops from our wrs...lol
