So I've been trolling the hell out of this board here lately because I've been at work all day long and been bored. Plus it's just the perfect time to troll

With that said, based on some things that I've heard going on behind the scenes, I believe there was a reason Eichorst didn't fire Bo. In my opinion Bo is already out the door.

In the very near future I believe thee Washington Huskies....yes, thee Huskies....are going to announce the hiring of Bo Pelini.

If and when that happens, good riddance. If by chance it doesn't happen, I'll continue to support the psycho.....but based on some things that I've heard off the record over the past few months, I will not be sad to see him go.

Let me just say, that audio that we heard between Bo and Sharpe a couple months ago......that is just a small taste of what might be upon the shit hitting the fan when he does leave.

There was some crazy shit that happened.

I've been somewhat suspicious he won't be back as well. They may have encouraged him to seek another gig. a la giving Watson time too find another gig.

The whole toxic relationship with the media and split fan base will just keep rising to the top.

Add to that his actions towards that ref and presser comments after having been warned about it previously and I think the university and Bo are seeking an amicable divorce.

I don't think Bo finds a lateral move though. Not without putting a lot of lipstick on the pig. Other schools know everything the media and fans know.

Lateral schools to Nebraska want championships, consistent play, and a head coach that represents the university in a professional manner as well.

None of them will hire him on the premise that he wins 9 games a year. Big programs shoot for the stars and want enthusiasm amongst media and fans when making a new hire. Not controvery from the get-go.

The hiring announcement by espn etc. would be accompanied by the tape recordiing, video clips of him blowing his top, etc.

Warshington is not a lateral move

In product/results, I agree. The hiring of Willingham and Neuheisal make good argument for your case.

I would think they'd want to add excitement to the program with the potential to win championships tho. Bo won't be a splash amongst fans in Seattle. Not with the "at least 9 wins/year" sales pitch.

I just see Bo being desireable to the type of school that will be happy to be a regular bowl contender. A perennial .500 club.

I don't think Washington fits that bill.

Washington hasn't had a 9 win season in over a decade. Not saying they'd fall all over themselves to go after Bo, but I think he'd do better than Sarkisian has. Plus, Washington has had a couple of decent recruiting classes (21st last year & I believe 13th so far this year)..Bo could smokescreen alot of his deficiencies with a couple of classes like that.

Whether he goes to Washington or elsewhere, I get the sense he won't be back next year either. I don't believe our ADs support was the ringing endorsement that would make Bo comfortable. Almost everything SE has said about the program has been more about the players than a ringing endorsement of the HC.

Washington's recruiting is a mess this year... they only have 7 commits (2 months before signing day) and half of those are wavering.

Besides that, Bo's not going anywhere until after 2014 if he goes anywhere at all. There's nothing at work behind the scenes, there's no secret meetings or covert resume mailing. Bo is going to be coach in 2014. We should all just move on with that in mind.

I was referring to the 2012 & 2013 recruiting classes....which would be being used alot next year. Both as good or better than Huskers.

And truth be told, I haven't heard anything about Bo since his "explosion". Then again, at least on the internet there is little noise about Nebraska football period--which to me is a bit odd.

Unless more BCS jobs open up, Bo isn't going anywhere. He doesn't need to be told to go ahead and look for another job. He has already done that twice for sure without "permission". Washington will get turned down by Peterson and then the Alabama OC, Nussmeier, will take that job. If for some reason Nussmeier doesn't take that job then maybe Bo is somewhere on their list. But otherwise we are unfortunately stuck with him and stuck in bogatory.

Hearing Clinkscales story about how he sat down with Bo on his visit and told him he was going to commit...

I don't believe for a second he is leaving.

I bet you he thinks he just found his third Dorsey/Suh. He thinks it's is the one missing key that will get him an elite defense again and he's gonna show everyone he can win big at Nebraska.

TC said Bo was shouting out of his office door saying "HE'S COMING. HE'S COMING HERE". Does that sound like a guy that wants out? I don't know, but it doesn't sound like a guy who's recruiting for the next staff.

Believe it or not, I think they are making good steps with the D to be good, if not very good.

Im with Nut and Jed here.Shawn and Bo as well as TO have come out and said that Bo is our coach for the future. Nebraska football, as good as it has been , isnt a cloak and dagger operation. We can expect that Pelini and probably the staff will be here next season for sure.

All of our speculation wont change that but you never know, it could change a recruits mind on whether Lincoln is his next stop.

I'll be the first to admit that the chances for Bo leaving are slim if not close to zero. But the longer the Washington hire plays out, the funner it is to speculate. Technically the ideal situation for Pelini. good facilities. A recent remodel of the stadium. A good bunch of talent, recruiting on the west coast, and recruiting in a state with a population over three times as much as Nebraska. The only drawback as been said by footballnut is that the current recruiting class sucks.

They don't want Pelini. Washington fans are saying they'd be down at the AD's office with pitchforks if he hired Pelini.

They don't want the image he portrays and it's not like it can be overlooked because he's championship caliber.
