Well I go back in for surgery Jan 3rd to have the Vena Cava Filter they put in for the clots removed because apparently they have had some trouble with them being an obstruction them self. They will also evaluate the PE in my lungs at that time. I still have the one clot in my left leg but it has gotten smaller. The doc says the blood thinners must be helping but I will be on them for the rest of my life because obviously I'm prone to clotting.

They wanted to do this a few weeks ago but I said no because I wanted to spend the holidays with the family and my second grandsons first Christmas ya know, just in case. I told my family that I put it off and they understand. We'll just see where the cards fall I guess. I just haven't mentioned it much until now.

I hope things get better for you too Jack you've had a pretty rough road for a bit and as you know I am always available to talk to if you need someone to talk to. Anytime my brother.

Damn Steve. I was just reading up on the removal and according to a couple articles I read, it appears that the procedure is a fairly standard one and one where you'll come out just fine.

Of course, then you still have the clot problem, but aside from knocking your dick into the dirt (which can be fixed) they carry no side effects. I know....having your dick in the dirt isn't optimal but that's just in the beginning stages of taking that type of med.

I'm sure you are well aware of both of the things I just mentioned but I also know that it feels better to hear it from someone else.

As for me....ugh.

The short version is that I actually do have a "50 to 69% blockage of my cartoid artery in the left side of my neck, but as of right this minute the drs are conversing at to the "if" they should go in and fix it now or check me every quarter to see if it's getting better or worse. Since I'm already on blood thinners they already know that that wont work, so.....here I sit. Waiting.
