He graduates in December and he wants to work on his passing game. If he transfers, most teams are going to just take him and plug him in their spread option type system and not develop him as a passer. Meanwhile, at Alabama he has a good QB coach who is teaching him to be a better passer, and he has the players around him to reward his progression.

He rightfully got a huge cheer from the crowd today when he came in.
