Hoyer-Manziel might be decided by STL

With the CLE coaches still debating who should be the starter, it looks like there might be a possibility of this stretching to this 3rd preseason week where they take on the Rams.

I want to say the Rams will lose the game as a knee jerk reaction but something tells me the opposite...

What do you look forward to/any thoughts on this???

It seems to me (I could be wrong) that the Rams don't tend to handle the real mobile, running QBS real well...To me, that would certainly favor Manziel...I'm not real sold on him being ready to start in the NFL just yet however..I'm almost certain he'll be the starter by mid-season (if not sooner)...

I wonder how much the middle finger gesture played a part. Hoyer sure didn't win the job from his play against Washington.

I'm setting the over/under at 45 rushing yards for Johnny.

That could give him new life with a week to go. Especially if Hoyer has another bad outing like he did on Monday night because I just don't see them starting Sexy Rexy.

Actually, 4th string Connor Shaw looked as good or better than the others Monday night. I would doubt Rexy even makes the squad; he's just there to help the QBs learn the offense.

Which is why the Browns will continue to be an awful team. Bad teams stay bad for a reason.

Sorry for ranting in multiple posts but seriously I just looked up Hoyer's career numbers. The guy has throw 7 TD's in the NFL. Peyton Manning did that in a game! He has 3 wins as a starting QB! 3 wins! What experience! Seriously, if Hoyer wins then it should be on what he's doing now and have nothing to do with experience. That's about the worst reasoning I've ever heard for anything.

Yes but this ain't the Pack nor the Saints. Plus we don't have Rodgers nor Brees in the back field.

The Browns O line should have problems with our D line.

With that said, I hope you're waaaaaay off.




PS I expect some additional starters in Preseason G3 and a bit more game planning.

Watkins' injury isn't serious. He got kicked in the back and bruised a rib.
