Howard Eskin on Mariota and the Redskins

In an interview this morning on WIP, Philly talking head Howard Eskin said that he's heard from three independent sources that the Redskins will take Mariota if he falls to us at #5.

Take this for what it's worth. I'm not sure who these independent sources are. For all we know, they could be the short order cook staff at the cheesesteak restaurant right down the street from the station. I continue to believe that taking Mariota at #5 makes zero sense. But that's just me.

Although Eskin is a total douchebag, he is friends with Snyder.
