How is Carcillo a minus player?

I know he isn't the best defensive presence out there. But the whole damn team is plus players. Even Shelley is a +4. Powe is a -1, and Carcillo is a -7. Even Zherdev is a + player. It almost seems like he would have to work at being a -7...

He received a "-" for each game he sat.



Checking his stats -- He was a minus in 5 games in which they won and a 2 in which they didn't. One of his worst games was on Dec 20th against the Panthers. Coincidentally, I think that was the same date he went into Lavys' doghouse.

The guy got in a good shot which seemed to piss carbomb off. he really let lose as soon as he caught that one.
