Time for some tortilla chips and chili with cheese on top....might even crack open a beer or 2.
It's not the officials fault. It's the rule's fault. Owners have to change that next year. The official was keeping the play alive... Not there fault the Saints didn't get to the line and ready to snap it until 26 seconds....It was loud in there we don't know exactly when the play was called down to review it. but this is a game that the officials will get scrutinized even harsher
actually great pointIt makes NO SENSE to have a run off there because the Saints were already ready to snap the ball with 26 seconds left. He was tackled in bounds with 42 seconds left so they already lost 16 seconds getting ready to snap the ball. The 10 second run off is to assume a loss of time used to get ready for the snap. Since they already took 16 seconds to get to the line, the officials are double dipping them.
That rule needs to only be applied if the play is blown for review right away. Horrible judgement there.
Who at espn thought it would be a good idea to have the 1st down marker on the scoreboard look like there is a flag on every play??
ESPN already changing it lol
Guys that was a terrible first half performance. We didn’t get sacked enough, we didn’t run enough draws that got zero fucking yards. I did my best though, I blew two timeouts. You guys need to pick it the fuck up out there and do your part!!!FIFY
Waiting for the Texans to go full O'Brien in the second half.
actually great point
lets say the play ends with 21 seconds. Clock keeps running. The team gets to the line & just as they are snapping it with 9 seconds left they call for a review.
Under this rule. No matter what the review finds, they just ended the game if the team had no time outs left. Even though it took them 12 seconds to go snap the ball.
BumpHouston defense is impressive.
I see someone at espn finally wised up and made the down and distance marker in the bottom right corner black instead of yellow at halftime.
It happened to the Lions a few years ago vs the Falcons. Week 3 of 2017 I believe.actually great point

It shouldn’t have made it to the first quarter. So yes. FinallyFinally? It was literally 1 half in their first game of the year lol
