It's hard to call a 7th rounder a bust. They are all long shots anyway.
well i brought it up because i dont think anyone past round 3 can be called a bust . from 4 on you are taking fliers

Nothing wrong with drafting a QB in later rounds, witness Russell Wilson, Tom Brady, Kirk Cousins, Dak Prescott Kurt Warner and many more.

Stroman has shown next to nothing since being brought in. He has been given ample chances by the previous DB coach. With a new position coach, maybe Moreland and others will get a long look over the summer because I'm tired of seeing Stroman get beat over and over when he is on the field. Maybe a position change by moving Stroman into slot coverage would help.

Didn't you just write a post about not writing a guy off after one year? Maybe you are right but maybe he improves too.

I did, and believe a guy should be given opportunity which Stroman received. Many rookies in Gruden's system never see the field or never get opportunity. Will that happen with McLaurin and Harmon? Maybe Alexander will get some run this year. We are in position to play the younger guys so let's play them. No reason to try and win a super bowl now when the team is simply not in position to compete on that level right now. I say let the young guys develop.

Yeah, most guys first year is a throw away year except for learning. I like the kid Moreland from JMU and there is a UDFA they supposedly like. I am for let them play it out on the field and hopefully the best man wins.

Fuller was beaten badly at times as a rookie and he turned out pretty well . Stroman was a 7th round pick who was put on the field too soon . Something that might not have happened except for the ASS. Trade . Hopefully he learned some lessons on the field
