Roman Gabriel?
Just kidding, I think he also played a head hunter on Gilligan's Island.
Maybe Jim Fregosi? My first guess would be Lou Piniella but I don't know if he was old enough to be a headhunter in the mid 60's when Gilligan's Island was on.

I think it was Lou Piniella. He played in the PCL in the mid 60's so maybe he made it over to the TV studios for a guest spot.

Who was the first Rookie of the Year winner to lead his league strikeouts the same year?

Hint: #1 A record-breaking Hall of Famer was a rookie teammate who debuted in the same game he did.

Hint: #2 He was BRTB, but never in a game in the majors.

- Ans. SEA was 83-79 in 1991. There were 3 Hall of Famers on that team (& 1 more who should be IMHO).

- #1 He led Team China in the 2006 WBC.

- #2 Lefebvre & LAD teammate Al Ferrera were on the show in the 1967-68 offseason.

^^^ with this hint it could be Brooks Robinson who done everything left handed but throw & bat. Pablo Sandoval was a lefty who learned to throw right handed so he could be an infielder.
