This is the guy I wanted. The potential is there with this guy. Kazee could be decent but Hooker has the ability to be really good. If both are here and healthy it will really open up what we can do back there. I'd love to see us start Hooker and Wilson and try to pair play Kazee and Hooker in the nickel. Our Corners aren't likely to be too good again, so getting 2 cover safeties on the field (and maybe Neal and Cox at LB) could help us to finally get off the field on 3rd downs.

I dont know much about Hooker. He does have great ball skills. And good quickness for a safety.. It's a step in the right direction.. we may field a defense that forces lots of turnovers for the first time in forever...

we just kept hoping for lightning in a bottle.
throwing ex CBs or fast guys there hoping they just picked it up. We never invested in a proven safety. Which BTW needs brains of the defense to be actually good. Not just gifted.
