Honest question about these BCS projections???

How are Michigan and Kansas State sexier draws than either Virginia Tech or Boise State. I would put Kansas State as a distant fourth in that group, yet it seems unanimous that they will get in the Sugar Bowl. Most BCS projections have these teams as viable "at large" candidates:

Baylor
Kansas State
Virginia Tech
Boise State
Stanford
Alabama
Michigan


Alabama and Stanford are in....got it....but after that why is Kansas State such a shoe-in?

I can't answer the K-State question

Big 12 conference

And the fact the Fiesta has an arrangement with the Big12.


BSU fan base travels well and bowls know that but it probably won't be enough.

which is why Gawd help us BSU fans want a rematch in the NCG at this point.

That would leave OkState for the Fiesta and a possible game vs Michigan in the Sugar.

I suspect the voters will jump Mich enough to ensure TCU is left out of the top 16
