This may be a very small thing and I am not like completely freaking out about but this is starting to irk me.

Has anyone else noticed the constant comments made by the playersabout how they like playing on the road because there are less distractions and playing at home is so hard with all the distractions? Since when did playing at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln a bad thing? It reminds me of when Corey McKeon cried about it being too loud at home for the defense. People want to bash the whole Red Out Around The World thing because at Nebraska we don't do stuff like that where we circle one game and all that. Well since when did it become ok at Nebraska to not want to play in Lincoln?

Like I said, I am not pissed about but the whining is getting old. I understand what the players mean when they say it but it just doesn't sound right.

I think it's more about the distractions in Lincoln the night before and on gameday..

Maybe Bo should pull a Turner Gill on friday nights

They seem to play better on the road. I am not too worried about OSU. :)

Bo has a better road record than home record since taking the job.

I see that NU is better on the road, they played Washington and KSU better then Idaho and SDSU this year I just don't understand what all these distractions are and why they can't fix the issue, if one truly exists.

NU is averaging only 4.7 wins per season since 2000, in conference. There's nothing extra for a home win

Pelini said two weeks ago that his players might be distracted with family members visiting during home weekends and trying to line up tickets.

"I'm not looking to make any excuses," he said. "But you have to look at everything and see if something is there, talk about it and be extra guarded against it. I don't know whether our guys feel more pressure at home. We weren't ourselves the other day in a number of instances. We did some things that were out of character. So I'm a little bit concerned about it."

Sounds like he will take care of it.
