Home opener... OCTOBER 27th!

This sucks. No home hockey till October 27th! I'm TIRED of watching hockey on TV already.

Exihibition in Russia
Then to Helsinki
then home for a few days, right back out the door for a 5 game west coast swing --Ottawa, Vancouver, San Jose, Los Angeles, and Phoenix.

That's a lot of frequent flier miles. (I can hear the west coast team playing their tiny, tiny violins, yes... but Finland is a tad farther than Nashville)

Finally... we get to the home opener against the Caps, then one of those awesome 3-in-4-night stints, with Pitt on the back end of a back to back then off the Philly. Ugh.


STILL should end up better than last October.


Can't believe I have to wait till the 27th for the home opener. Fuck.. Need hockey.
Making the roadtrip to the Charlotte Checkers on Friday night just to get a fix.

The Sabres have a league high 22 back to back games and start the season with 6 games in 9 nights. 5 of the teams were playoffs teams except the the Rangers that missed the PO in a shootout!

Three years in a row the Sabres have been in the top three with back to back games.
