1.Braniac Kevin Bieksa shot a puck at the back of Luongos leg in practice

2.Roberto Luongo discussed being in 5 different fantasy football leagues and revealed he gets kinda dissappointed when he sees a Sunday game on the schedule. The past 2 years its been Luongo Kesler down to the wire in the Canucks team FFL

3. and Halloween inspired
The spirit of All Hallows' Eve was alive and well at the Vancouver Canucks practice as centre Ryan Kesler emerged from the tunnel wearing a long white wig under his helmet on Friday at Rogers Arena. The Canucks held their team Halloween party on Thursday, with from what we can tell, everyone taking part. Peter Schaefer dressed like Brett Favre while his wife played a pregnant New York Jets reporter; Tanner Glass and his fiance went as John Lennon and Yoko Ono; while Kesler, Alex Burrows and Kevin Bieksa went as the Chipmunks. which has been the BANE of this franchise for as long as I can remember. Not one team I have watched was able to really take advantage of teams that are in this sort of shape. these games make me the MOST nervous. we are a franchise that brings teams out of funks and puts them on runs.

according to TSN, Hamhuis (foot) and Alberts (knee) are both questionable,
but Ballard (concussion) could return.

Well Dash I to be honest I didn't think I had much of a choice. My forwards were Henrik, Plekanec, Krecji, Sullivan & a bunch of guys who play on the 3rd or 4th lines. This is what happens when you aren't able to be their for the draft.

So I traded Henrik, Krecji & Tim Connolly for Hejduk, James Neal & Matt Moulson. My teams biggest problem is scoring goals. I hope the trade helps both teams. I think it will.

Neal plays on the same line as Richards who is one of the best passers in the game much like Henrik. The GOLDEN BOY needs to work on his breakaways. He's missed a couple in the last few games.

The only way I see the Devils winning this game is if the Canucks show some rust early & NJ poinces on their opportunities. It's never easy playing catch up against the Devils.

it was a well negotiated trade. all sorts of names thrown in through the process.
gives me a top forward set of
Sedin, Zetterberg, Lecavalier, Selanne, Duchene, and
Kovalchuk (at some point he's got to earn some of that contract)
decent depth still below.

I have a couple of questions for Canucks fans. Cody Hodgson is very highly thought of by most hockey people. How soon do you think he will be ready for the NHL? Who's the better prospect Hodgson or Schroeder?
