No review of the Murray hit on Eriksson and there shouldn't be. Murray's hit on Vincour was a bit more questionable and I thought might get reviewed but nothing yet.

Dreger is tweeting the league has a replay of Heatley's elbow that shows he only made contact with Ott's shoulder and chest, not his head. Apparently his stick isn't the only thing Heatley whiffs with... He'll still get a game or two just out of intent.

I still think that Ott was hamming it up. It doesn't hurt when you get hit in the head if you have shit for brains.

On the same token I wouldn't mind seeing Heatley sit a couple games. That way someone else will have the opportunity to take stupid penalties late in one goal games.

lol, I was just gonna say that Heatley getting suspended will be a good thing. Hopefully he learns and next time he can run Ott's head into a stanchion since he won't get suspended for that.

It was funny on the Dallas broadcast last night (those guys are terrible btw) after Murray hit Eriksson he got jumped by Ott and they were saying how if you make big hits you're gonna have to pay the price, like Ott is some sort of great fighter. It was like really? Murray is one of the toughest guys in the league. It was pretty sweet watching Murray land some blows on Ott who could do almost nothing.
