A person could live well just off of the money it cost to replace all of the composite hockey sticks that "explode" every game. Not sure what they cost but I know they're not cheap.

There must be a better way of making these. Maybe just wood? ;)

I know it's enough that I cringe when big babies break their stick after the play. That goalpost (our your own goalie:L) you just whacked isn't a -1. You are, ya dumbass.

They want the sticks to break easily to avoid injuries when players get slashed. Imagine all the broken hands and ankles there would be if the sticks are made from a stronger material?

I mean it can't be to save on money.

I know the higher end Easton sticks cost $200.00+. Mine is a midlevel stick that was about $75.00. Mind you they probably cost $5.00 to produce, gotta love the little sweatshop kids.

Even at my really crappy level of ice hockey, I can tell the difference between my nice whippy $75.00 stick and the $20.00 tree that I bring in case my real stick breaks.

Thats my really long winded way of saying the prices are insane... :D

Might stop some people from acting up if they had the lumber layed to them once or twice.
