Since MLB put the clamp on foreign substances batting averages and power numbers have dropped everywhere. However I would rather have an honest game compared to the Roids age! But it does make me think that some guys got away with it for awhile and they started to quit when others were caught.

Those ones that "got away with it" Northeast are going to eventually pay the piper with body failures when they get older. Don't be surprised if some of the more blatant ones develop diseases and die early just like in the NFL.

Youre right, but we're a little jaded from watching so many Phillies games. Even in today's game there are some other teams who actually have guys with OBP over .300.

True, but the other teams have GMS that think OBP is important if you want to score runs. Amaro should have been fired when he stated that he did not know there was a difference between at bats and plate appearances!
Amaro is an educated man, but they don't teach baseball in college!
