Just saying if Bo's running the defense and Papuchis is just a lackey with little contribution other than title than that's $300K that can be spent better elsewhere. T.O. didn't have an offensive coordinator. He was the OC.

No matter how you slice it, Nebraska's going to have to pay a HC $3 mil or more if they want to be competitive.

I agree Papuchis salary is a waste. But because he's trying to "run" Bo's defense, either Paups an idiot or he's just like the rest of the defense, and they just cannot wrap themselves (and haven't after 5 plus years) around the Pelini defenses.

Granted the team as a whole could have taken Wyoming far too lightly but, there were far too many "after play" resonses from the defense--dear in headlight looks, hands on hips, from the get go that was highly reminiscent of our last year of Cosgrove at the helm. T. O. didn't have a OC, and by and large didn't need one. We aren't getting the same results out of the defense even WITH a DC (regardless of who it's been).
