I saw Hulsizer on the NHL Network after his meeting with the NHL....seems like a nice enough guy...you would think he could have shaved before the big meeting though...he looked a little ragged...

I do see it's obvious Bettman wants nothing to do with franchise relocation at this moment in time, but if you're trying to tell me that the Islanders, Phoenix, Florida, and Atlanta aren't all making strong cases to be moved to other markets then you're out of your gourd.

They don't call it a fluff piece for nothing.

I see what they are saying about keeping put and making it work. It shows weakness if you have to constantly shift teams, and they want to solve this issue, and keep the teams put, to fortify the NHL as a whole. But I definitely believe that there are teams here in the U.S. that shouldn't be here, and that I would be more than happy to see move north above the border. Atlanta has a great team this year, and it is a disgrace that they are playing in front of a shit crowd that just keeps thinning out. Florida Panthers, although they are run like dog shit, couldn't fill that arena if they paid it's customers. Tampa Bay is doing alright from what I remember looking at attendance and such. Nashville, another team that always is in contention for a playoff spot, yet can't fill their arena. I hate to say it and sound stereotypical, but MOST people to the south just don't have a connection to the sport and aren't as passionate as most of us northerners who grew up with hockey in our life... I dont know, just rambling... Saying that, I am going to go listen to "Ramble On" by Zep, peace. ;)
